Sorari is an art studio specialized in pastel paintings. This studio also runs pastel painting lessons mainly in Kobe areas.
Pastel paintings are artwork that anyone can do with simple instructions. You can create a fantastic paining by crushing pastels into fine powder and moving your fingers around on the canvas!
Sorari has started with a wish to support mothers who are busy child-rearing and households by providing a refreshing time that can ease their daily fatigue through pastel paintings.
A wide range of pastel art lessons for students of all ages are available at Sorari. They will surely be satisfied with these lessons.
Sorari also offers visiting lessons available from one person or group. Please feel free to contact us about the available areas or prices for the visiting lessons.

Hello. I am Kayoko Wada, the instructor at Sorari. I‘m currently raising two children. Drawing pictures with beautiful pastel colors by using my fingers always makes me refresh from my daily fatigue or gloomy feeling. I am looking forwards to enjoying a relaxing time together with you through drawing pastel arts. You will definitely feel relaxed and comfortable at Sorari. This is a fusion of pastel and calligraphy art. You can draw a fantastic painting without calligraphy experience, because you will write letters without fude (brush used for Japanese calligraphy).

Pastelia calligraphy art is a fusion of pastel and calligraphy art. Calligraphy experience is not required, because you will write letters without fude (brush used for Japanese calligraphy).
